Privacy policy

The short version
We store your email address and the plan information you type into your guides. We don't store employee data, we don't run third-party trackers, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in (we email you a link instead of storing a password) and to send transactional messages: sign-in links, "your PDF is ready," and receipts.
- Your guide content: plan names, carriers, deductibles, copays, contribution rates, company name, and logo. This is employer plan information, not personal information about employees. The product has no fields for employee names, elections, or health information, and it is not built to hold them.
- Basic product events (a guide was created, a PDF was rendered) tied to your account, used to run and improve the service. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic; it uses no cookies and doesn't track individuals.
What we deliberately don't do
- No third-party advertising or analytics scripts on any page.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of your data for marketing.
- No employee PII: we are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and we keep it that way by never handling employee health information.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare hosts the service (compute, database, file storage, email delivery). Stripe processes payments; your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Public links
Each guide has an unlisted web link containing a long random token. Anyone who has the link can view that guide; search engines are told not to index it, and you can disable or re-enable the link on the guide's page.
Retention and deletion
Your guides stay until you delete them or your account. Deleting your account removes your guides, logos, and generated PDFs immediately, and the deletion reaches our nightly backups within 30 days as old backups rotate out.
